Bombardier Aerospace today announced that IBEX Airlines of Japan will operate four CRJ700 NextGen airliners. These four aircraft are part of an order that was announced on June 23, 2008, and are being sold to an unidentified customer.

Bombardier Aerospace today announced that private aviation company Jet Republic has joined its pioneering Carbon Offset Program. Bombardier became the first Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to offer its business aircraft customers a carbon emissions offset option in September 2007.

Bombardier Aerospace announced today that MIG Aviation 3 Limited, a subsidiary of Marfin Investment Group Holdings S.A. of Greece, has signed a firm order for eight Q400 aircraft, including five Q400 NextGen airliners, and has taken options on an additional eight Q400 NextGen airliners.

Bombardier Aerospace is on track to deliver the first CSeries single-aisle airliner in 2013. The five-abreast CSeries family of aircraft is specifically designed to meet the growing needs of the 100- to 149-seat commercial aircraft market category. Bombardier forecasts demand for 6,300 aircraft in this market category valued at approximately $360 billion US over the next 20 years (2009-2028).

Bombardier Aerospace today announced another 17 suppliers for the CSeries aircraft program. These suppliers join others which were previously announced, and will contribute significantly to the development of the CSeries aircraft which are optimized for the longer range, single-aisle, 100- to 145-seat market. The CSeries aircraft is scheduled to enter service in 2013.

One of the world's leading civil aircraft manufacturers, Bombardier will showcase its aircraft portfolio by featuring on its static display the Learjet 60 XR, Challenger 850 and Global Express XRS business jets as well as the first delivered Q400 NextGen airliner. In addition, a full-scale cabin mockup of the new, all-composite Learjet 85 business jet will also be open for viewing at the static display.
